Background: 

The District is in the process of updating Board policies at the recommendation of the California School Boards Association.

Board Policy No. 3553, Free and Reduced Price Meals is being revised to allow the district to share information on free or reduced status with other school districts if a student transfers to a new school.  This will ensure that students continue to receive meals after they have transferred.
