Agenda Item Title: Slater Elementary School Increment 4 Project Change Order No. 1 – Rodan Builders, Inc.

Background:
During the Slater Elementary School Increment 4 Project, unforeseen conditions, design changes, and owner requests have occurred, resulting in additions/changes in scope to the original project. These additions/changes require contingency money to be used.
The total construction contingency of $202,346 was budgeted for this project.
Change Order #1 for $86,647 will reduce the remaining contingency amount to $115,699 with 44% of the project complete.
Fiscal Implication:
The contingency monies required for Change Order #1 will not exceed $86,647. A summary of Change Order #1 is attached.
Recommended Action:
That the Board of Trustees approve Change Order #1 for the Slater Elementary School Increment 4 Project .
