Agenda Item Title: Slater Elementary School MUR, Increment 3 Project Change Order No. 2 – Rodan Builders, Inc.

Background:
During the Slater Elementary School MUR, Increment 3 Project, unforeseen conditions, design changes, and owner requests have occurred, resulting in additions/changes in scope to the original project. These additions/changes require contingency money to be used.
The total construction contingency of $199,889 was budgeted for this project.
Change Order #1 for $134,194 was approved on May 2, 2019.
Change Order #2 for $35,390 will reduce the remaining contingency amount to $30,305 with 95% of the project complete.
Fiscal Implication:
The contingency monies required for Change Order #2 will not exceed $35,390. A summary of Change Order #2 is attached.
Recommended Action:
That the Board of Trustees approve Change Order #2 for the Slater Elementary School MUR, Increment 3 Project.
