Agenda Item Title:  Mountain View Whisman School District Office Building Change Order No. 1– Enviroplex, Inc.

Background: 

During the Mountain View Whisman School District Office Building Project, unforeseen conditions, design changes, and owner requests have occurred, resulting in additions/changes in scope to the original project. These additions/changes require contingency money to be used.

 

The total construction contingency of $435,938 was budgeted for this project.

 

Change Order #1 for $60,112 will reduce the remaining contingency amount to $375,836 with 99% of the project complete.



Fiscal Implication:

The contingency monies required for Change Order #1 will not exceed $60,112. A summary of Change Order #1 is attached.



Recommended Action: 

That the Board of Trustees approve Change Order #1 for the Mountain View Whisman School District Office Building Project.
