Background:
On November 19, 2015, the District's Governing Board approved Resolution No. 1580.11/15 delegating authority to award contracts to the District's Superintendent, Chief Business Officer, Associate Superintendent(s), and Assistant Superintendent(s) pursuant to Education Code sections 17604 and 17605.
All contracts approved by those authorized to do so pursuant to that delegation authority are to be submitted to the District's Governing Board for ratification. Contracts that do not, however, involve an expenditure in excess of the bid limits specified in Public Contract Code section 20111 need only be reviewed by the District's Governing Board every 60 days. The applicable bid limits are $15,000 for construction contracts and $92,600 in 2019 (adjusted annually) for the purchase of equipment, materials, supplies, non-construction services, or repairs including maintenance.

- 3 Chords/Therapy Travelers - Provides contracted service providers $142,120
- 101 Therapy Staffing Inc. - Provides contracted service providers district-wide e.g., Physical Therapists & Speech-language Pathologists $131,042.42
- Alpha Vista - Provides contracted service providers district-wide e.g., Physical Therapists $139,235.71
- Esther B. Clark - Non-public school placement $429,180
- Goodfellow Occupational Therapy - Provides contracted Occupational Therapist $448,800
- One Work Place - One Workplace will provide Workplace Studio Services to Mountain View Whisman School District in the form of workstations and desks for the new District Office $342,091.21
- Pacific Autism Center for Education - Non-public school placement for MVWSD students $147,222
- Pearson - Contractor agrees to provide Component Enrichment sessions in August 2019/January 2019 to certificated staff to deepen their understanding of the SIOP Model and includes RTI process to support Els and newcomers $128,400
- Ro Health Services - Provides contracted service providers e.g., Licensed Vocational Nurses, Registered Behavioral Technician & Speech-language Pathologists $413,424
- Therapy Travelers - Contracted service providers e.g., Psychologists $112,200

- Artik Art & Architecture - Proposal for Student Facilities Improvement Plan/Ten-Year Master Plan Update (Phase 1) $88,500
- DecisionInsite Enrichment Specialists - Professional services in community demographic analysis and enrollment projections using data spatialization technology for use in budget, facilities, program, staff, and strategic planning and school configuration $35,625
- Environmental Volunteers - The project will deliver science resource programs to all District elementary and middle school classrooms including transportation for up to one program per grade per school $70,000
- KeyAnalytics - Assistance with reconciliation, management, reporting and monitoring cash flow dating back to 2012 and will continue for the remaining life of the current bond $55,000 initial fee followed by $3,800 per month
- LEA Medical Billing Technology - Medi-Cal Reimbursement Services $10,800
- Los Altos School District - When necessary, students have access to special education programs operated by LASD and is/are placed through the IEP process $cost is determined by program placement at the time of placement
- Parent Institute for Quality Education - Will provide a parent training designed to develop skills and techniques to address the educational needs of their school-aged children course for parents of students enrolled at Crittenden Middle School $5,500
- Peter Gorman - The purpose of Executive Coaching is to help ensure the success of the superintendent and their leadership team by providing an experienced, trusted, knowledgeable, and confidential coach $45,000 plus travel-related expenses not to exceed $12,000
- Playworks - Provide an experienced Playworks Site Coordinator at Castro School to model and teach strategies, games, and systems to develop and sustain a positive educational culture for everyone, starting at recess $12,500.00
