Agenda Item Title:  Rejection of all bids for the Castro/Mistral Phase 4 Increment 3 Project (5 minutes)

Background: 

On April 25, 2019, the District received one (1) contractor bid for the Castro/Mistral Phase 4 Increment 3 Project. The construction budget for the project was $1,500,000 inclusive of design contingency. Beals Martin was the only bidder at $2,792,231. Due to only receiving one bid and the bid being $1.2M over budget, it is recommended that the District reject the bid and rebid the project for Summer 2020.

There is no impact to the overall project budget.
