Agenda Item Title: Stevenson Elementary School Project, Phase 4, MUR Project Change Order No. 6 – Rodan Builders

Background:
During the Stevenson Elementary School Project, Phase 2, Increment 1 Sitework Project, unforeseen conditions, design changes, and owner requests have occurred, resulting in additions/changes in scope to the original project. These additions/changes require contingency money to be used.
The total construction contingency of $473,400 was budgeted for this project.
Change Order #1 for $54,505 was approved on May 3, 2018.
Change Order #2 for $106,521 was approved on September 6, 2018.
Change Order #3 for $70,285 was approved on January 10, 2019.
Change Order #4 for $117,669 was approved on February 7,2019.
Change Order #5 for $81,702 was approved on March 7, 2019.
Change Order #6 will reduce the remaining contingency amount to $8,270 with 100% of the project complete.
Fiscal Implication:
The contingency monies required for Change Order #6 will not exceed $34,448. A summary of Change Order #6 is attached.
Recommended Action:
That the Board of Trustees approve Change Order #6 for the Stevenson Elementary School Project, Phase 4, MUR Project.
