Background: 
Each year the Governor and Legislature of California designate the second Wednesday in May as "Day of the Teacher." Teachers make a crucial difference in the lives of all the District's students.

Recommended Action: 
That the Board approve and adopt Resolution No. 01-050219, recognizing May 8, 2019 as Day of the Teacher.
