Agenda Item Title:  Mental Health Tiers of Support (10 minutes)

Background: 
MVWSD currently employs two clinical therapists through a contractor. MVWSD employs five psychologists.   Staff is asking to hire one in house clinical therapist with the addition of a 6th psychologist to support the mental health needs of our students at 11 sites for the 2019/20 school year.

Fiscal Implication:
Cost neutral.  However as a district hire, supervisors will have better oversight of the employees.

Recommended Action: 
That the Board approve hiring an additional psychologist and one clinical therapist.
