Background:
The District is in the process of updating policies at the recommendation of the California School Boards Association.
The policy is updated to clarify language regarding evaluations and their purpose. It designates that the Superintendent or designee shall assess the performance of certificated instructional staff.
Board Policy No. 4115, Evaluation/Supervision has been updated to reflect those recommendations.

Recommended Action:
That the Board approved Board Policy No. 4115, Evaluation/Supervision at first reading, as presented.
