Agenda Item Title: Science Advisory Committee Recommendations (30 minutes)

Background:
In alignment with Strategic Plan 2021 and Board of Trustees Goal 2, MVWSD has been working to develop a plan of action to increase science and technology offerings for all students.
At the beginning of the 2018-19 school year, a Science Advisory Committee was formed and began working on a plan for implementation in the 2019-20 school year based on data, research and input from stakeholders.
Fiscal Implication:
None at this time. Fiscal implication based on work to be completed over the next three years.
Recommended Action:
That the Board approve the Science Plan of Action, as presented.
