Person Responsible: On November 19, 2015, the District's Governing Board approved Resolution No. 1580.11/15 delegating authority to award contracts to the District's Superintendent, Chief Business Officer, Associate Superintendent(s), and Assistant Superintendent(s) pursuant to Education Code sections 17604 and 17605.
All contracts approved by those authorized to do so pursuant to that delegation authority are to be submitted to the District's Governing Board for ratification. Contracts that do not, however, involve an expenditure in excess of the bid limits specified in Public Contract Code section 20111 need only be reviewed by the District's Governing Board every 60 days. The applicable bid limits are $15,000 for construction contracts and $88,300 in 2017 (adjusted annually) for the purchase of equipment, materials, supplies, non-construction services, or repairs including maintenance.

- Foothill De Anza Community College - Stretch to Kinder Family Engagement Kindergarten Readiness Program $77,592
- Harmony Plus - 7 week Reading for Success After-School Program 3 weeks free w/$500 deposit. Remainder of 4 weeks $874/student w/enrollment of 15-20 students
- MindUP - Staff and parent workshop helping children develop mental fitness at Graham School $8,135.00
- National University - Student teaching internship program $no cost to MVWSD
- Santa Cruz/Silicon Valley New Teacher - New teacher induction program $5,200 per participating teacher $2,000 in house mentors
- Silicon Valley Education Foundation - Elevate Math Program for incoming 3rd-8th graders $no cost to MVWSD
- YMCA - Project Cornerstone - Support MVWSD's efforts to provide a positive school climate for all of it's students and to increase parent/staff engagement $10,000
