Agenda Item Title: Slater/Vargas New Campus Project Modular Two-Story Building Change Order No. 1–Enviroplex, Inc.

Background:
During the Slater New Campus Modular Buildings Project, unforeseen conditions, design changes, and owner requests have occurred, resulting in additions/changes in scope to the original project. These additions/changes require contingency money to be used.
The total construction contingency of $617,407.50 was budgeted for this project.
Change Order No. 1 for $220,632 will reduce the remaining contingency amount to $396,775.50 with 40% of the project complete.
Fiscal Implication:
The contingency monies required for Change Order No. 1 will not exceed $220,632.00. A summary of Change Order No. 1 is attached.
Recommended Action:
That the Board of Trustees approve Change Order No. 1 for the Slater New Campus Modular Two-Story Building Project.
