Agenda Item Title: Stevenson Elementary School Phase 4 New MUR Change Order No. 5– Rodan Builders, Inc.

Background:
During the Stevenson Elementary School Phase 4 New MUR Project, unforeseen conditions, design changes, and owner requests have occurred, resulting in additions/changes in scope to the original project. These additions/changes require contingency money to be used.
The total construction contingency of $473,400 was budgeted for this project.
Change Order #1 for $54,505 was approved on May 3, 2018.
Change Order #2 for $106,521 was approved on September 6, 2018.
Change Order #3 for $70,285 was approved on January 10, 2019.
Change Order #4 for $117,669 was approved on February 7,2019.
Change Order #5 for $81,702 will reduce the remaining contingency amount to $42,718 with 99% of the project complete.
Fiscal Implication:
The contingency monies required for Change Order #5 will not exceed $81,702.00. A summary of Change Order #5 is attached.
Recommended Action:
That the Board of Trustees approve Change Order #5 for the Stevenson Elementary School Phase 4 New MUR.
