Agenda Item Title:  Notice of Completion – Mariano Castro School /Gabriela Mistral School Phase 4, Increment 2 Modular Classroom Building Project

Background: 

On November 16, 2017, the Board approved the construction contract for the Mariano Castro Traditional School /Gabriela Mistral Dual Immersion School Phase 4, Increment 2 Modular Classroom Project from Measure G funds.  The Board approved the award of the project to Enviroplex, Inc. in the amount of $1,404,378.48.

 

Work on this project is now substantially complete.



Fiscal Implication:

The District currently holds retention in the amount of 70,218.92, or 5% of the contract value.  After a minimum of thirty-five (35) days after the filing of the Notices of Completion with the County of Santa Clara recorder, the District will release the retention amount provided all remaining close out and punch list items have been completed.



Recommended Action: 

That the Board approve the filing of the Notices of Completion for the Mariano Castro School/Gabriela Mistral School Phase 4, Increment 2 Modular Classroom Building Project.
