Background:
During the Stevenson Elementary School Phase 4 New MUR Project, unforeseen conditions, design changes, and owner requests have occurred, resulting in additions/changes in scope to the original project. These additions/changes require contingency money to be used.
The total construction contingency of $473,400 was budgeted for this project.
Change Order #1 for $54,505 was approved on May 3, 2018.
Change Order #2 for $106,521 was approved on September 6, 2018.
Change Order #3 for $70,285 was approved on January 10, 2019.
Change Order #4 for $117,669 will reduce the remaining contingency amount to $124,420 with 92% of the project complete.
Fiscal Implication:
The contingency monies required for Change Order #4 will not exceed $117,669.00. A summary of Change Order #4 is attached.
Recommended Action:
That the Board of Trustees approve Change Order #4 for the Stevenson Elementary School Phase 4 New Multi Use.
