Agenda Item Title: Award of CMAS (California Multiple Award Schedule) Contract to Landscape Structures for the Purchase of Play Equipment for the Stevenson and Castro/Mistral Elementary Schools Play Structure Expansion Project

Background:
The Board will consider for award a CMAS contract for the purchase of play equipment for the Stevenson and Castro/Mistral Elementary Schools Play Structure Expansion Project.
On January 9, 2019, the District received a proposal from Landscape Structures for the purchase and installation of Play Equipment for the Stevenson and Castro/Mistral Elementary Schools Play Structure Expansion Project. In lieu of the competitive bid process, the CMAS contract with Landscape Structures is an acceptable and cost-effective means for the District to purchase the specified product. The District’s Measure G Bond Program manager, Greystone West, has reviewed the proposal for conformance with District and statutory requirements.
Fiscal Implication:
The contract amount will be $101,844.28 with all costs to be charged to the Measure G bond program.
Recommended Action:
That the Board of Trustees award the CMAS contract for the purchase of play equipment for the Stevenson and Castro/Mistral Elementary Schools Play Structure Expansion Project to Stewart Signs in the amount of $101,844.28 and authorize staff to issue a purchase order for the work.
