Agenda Item Title:  Calendar for the 2019-2020 School Year (5 minutes)

Background: 
The school calendar is a negotiated item under the collective bargaining agreement with the Mountain View Educators Association (MVEA).  A Calendar Committee composed of MVEA and district representatives met to develop the 2019-2020 school year calendar.  This calendar has been reviewed by district leadership. The calendar is being presented for Board approval. The starting and ending dates as well as the breaks match those of the high school district.

None.

Recommended Action: 
That the Board approve the 2019-2020 school year calendar, as presented.
