Background:
At the April 5, 2018 Board meeting, the Board of Trustees approved the Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) Contract to Rodan Builders, Inc. for the Slater Elementary School New Construction Sitework-Phase 1 Project in the amount of $7,190,828 inclusive of the 7% contingency. The Board is now asked to approve the amendment 2 to the facilities lease to reflect the addition of Increment #4 – Slater Electrical and Low Voltage Work for Modular Buildings in the amount of $2,225,807 inclusive of a 10% contingency.
Fiscal Implication:
The amended Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) Contract to Rodan Builders, Inc. will be $13,614,310 with all costs to be charged to Fund 40 Certificates of Participation.
Recommended Action:
That the Board of Trustees approve Amendment No. 2 of Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) Contract for the Slater Elementary School (Vargas) New Construction Project and authorize the Superintendent to sign the Site and Facilities Lease Agreements.
