Agenda Item Title: Ratification of Contract to Enviroplex, Inc. for the Slater Elementary School (Vargas) Administration Building, Library and Kindergarten Project Utilizing the Las Lomitas School District Piggyback Contract

The Board will consider ratification of a contract for the modular buildings and associated building components for the Slater Elementary School (Vargas) Administration Building, Library and Kindergarten Project.
On April 18, 2017, the District received proposals from modular building companies for the Slater Elementary School Administration Building, Library and Kindergarten Project. Three (3) proposals were received and the District approved Enviroplex, Inc. as the Modular Building Manufacturer on December 7, 2017. The District’s Measure G Bond Program manager, Greystone West, and the District’s legal counsel, OHSH, have reviewed the contract for conformance with District and statutory requirements.
The contract amount will be $2,790,968.00 with all costs to be charged to Fund 40 Certificates of Participation.
That the Board of Trustees ratify the contract for the Slater Elementary School Administration Building, Library and Kindergarten Project to Enviroplex, Inc. in the amount of $2,790,968.00.
