Background:
During the Stevenson Elementary School Phase 4 New MUR Project, unforeseen conditions, design changes, and owner requests have occurred, resulting in additions/changes in scope to the original project. These additions/changes require contingency money to be used.
The total construction contingency of $473,400 was budgeted for this project.
Change Order #3 for $70,285 will reduce the remaining contingency amount to $242,089 with 85% of the project complete.
Fiscal Implication:
The contingency monies required for Change Order #3 will not exceed $70,285.00.
Recommended Action:
That the Board of Trustees approve Change Order #3 for the Stevenson Elementary School Phase 4 New MUR in the amount of $70,285.
