Background: 

Overview of Policy

Board Policy No. 6152 is a new policy that is required as part of the District’s participation in federal programs including Title I and Title III and the recent Federal Program Monitoring review.  It provides an overview of how the District shall oversee the assignment of students into classes. The policy includes possible placement criteria, including information from parents/guardians, that may be used in the assignment process.
