During the Slater Elementary School (Vargas) New Campus Modular Buildings Project, unforeseen conditions, design changes, and owner requests have occurred, resulting in additions/changes in scope to the original project. These additions/changes require contingency money to be used.
The total construction contingency of $279,096 was budgeted for this project.
Change Order #1 for $42,970 will reduce the remaining contingency amount to $236,126.78 with 40% of the project complete.
The contingency monies required for Change Order #1 will not exceed $42,970.00. A summary of Change Order #1 is attached.
That the Board of Trustees approve Change Order #1 for the Slater Elementary School (Vargas) New Campus Modular Buildings Project.
