Agenda Item Title: Award Construction Contract for the New District Office Building to Premier Builders (5 minutes)

Background:
The Board will consider for award a contract for the District Office New Construction Project. On November 7, 2018, the District received contractor bids for the New Construction of the District Office Project. Four bids were received and the apparent low responsive and responsible bidder is Premier Builders. The District’s Measure G Bond Program manager, Greystone West, has reviewed the bid for conformance with District and statutory requirements.
Fiscal Implication:
Fund 40 - Certificates of Participation
Bid amount is $1,820,199
Recommended Action: That the Board of Trustees award the District Office construction contract to Premier Builders in the amount of $1,820,199.
